This June I joined Chorale La Farandole as tenor soloist in their performance of Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri. It was an absolute pleasure, a wonderful opportunity to visit Quebec's countryside , and to practice my French.
My first-ever self-produced recital! This performance was dedicated to my 2SLGBTQIA+ family. $1000 was raised for the Rainbow Harmony Project and the Rainbow Resource Centre. The recital was supported by Manitoba Opera and the Women's Musical Club of Winnipeg.
Originally produced by Tapestry Opera in Toronto, the contemporary opera favourite Rocking Horse Winner was directed by Alissa Watson and presented at the Millennium Centre May 2024 by Manitoba Underground Opera. I was honored to have played the role of Oscar in this production!

This "fach-swapped" Messiah was more than just a performance of wonderful music. This was an act of radical community and fundraiser bringing together Winnipeg's queer folks through music they have historically been excluded from. I sang tenor AND soprano arias such as Rejoice and Redeemer.

As part of Michael McMahon's Song Interpretation Class, my partner Rosane Lajoie and I presented a set of seven Brahms songs inspired by the poetry of Klaus Groth exploring their shared reflections on childhood and melancholy.
A collaborative performance between Flipside Opera and the Little Opera Company of Winnipeg as part of the 2023 AOC Canadian Opera Summit. I stepped in at the last minute to fill in while I was in town planning the conference! The performance featured arias and short indie opera excerpts.

I enjoyed the wonderful opportunity to cover my dear colleague Patricia Yates in the role of Prince Ramiro. This was a full circle moment for me having been on staff during Manitoba Opera's 2022 fall production.
A medley of Sondheim's greatest! This production was part of the Lisl Wirth Black Box Festival and Opera McGill's 23/24 season. I played Bedale in scenes from Sweeny Todd and Hysterium in scenes from A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to The Forum. This performance counted toward my thesis.

I’M MOVING TO MONTRÉAL! I will be starting my M.Mus. in Opera and Voice at McGill University this Fall. What a dream come true and a couple years in the making!!
